The Hong Kong, China equestrian team, supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club, added further lustre to its performance at the Hangzhou Asian Games today (28 September), with HKJC Equestrian Team member Jacqueline Siu claiming a silver medal in individual dressage at the Tonglu Equestrian Centre. The victory marks a back-to-back Asian Games triumph for Siu, who also brought home a gold medal in dressage from the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta.

The equestrian team supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club has earned pride for the city at the Hangzhou Asian Games by claiming a bronze medal in the team dressage competition today (26 September) in Hangzhou. The victory marks another milestone for Hong Kong, China as the city’s first-ever medal in team dressage at the Asian Games.

In support of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou and the participating Hong Kong athletes, The Hong Kong Jockey Club establishes a designated "Asian Games Live Zone" in all Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), three Clubhouses, equestrian centre and one of its public riding schools. Starting from 23 September, it will broadcast the events of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou provided by the three channels of Cable HOY TV for the enjoyment of its Members, customers and the public.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club gave its full support to elite athletes today (16 September) at the flag presentation ceremony for the Hong Kong, China delegation to the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Para Games. Club Steward Lester G Huang attended the ceremony as the representative of the Club.

These initiatives have been rolled out to provide a diverse range of nighttime entertainment choices for both residents and tourists.

Jockey Club Athlete Incentive Awards Scheme recognises outstanding performances at World University Games

The third Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum, convened by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, concluded successfully today (12 September) at the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong. The two-day forum attracted more than 1,600 delegates from around the world including close to 70 eminent speakers and over 180 representatives from regional and global foundations, who shared the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead as we strive to create a fairer society and the power of philanthropy to accomplish this.

From 11-12 September, global philanthropists and thought leaders are gathering in Hong Kong to debate solutions to global inequity and pathways to a more sustainable future for all. Philanthropy, with its proven ability to catalyse change and deliver impact, will be a major focus.
