Following its success in supporting the staging of the equestrian events of the Beijing Olympic Games, the Club was invited to assist in the organisation of the equestrian events of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games. The Club funded the construction of competition venues and provided transport logistics and veterinary services. The Club also assisted in the establishment of the first-ever internationally-recognised equine disease-free zone in the Mainland, enabling horses from other countries to compete. The Club was honoured as “Outstanding Contributor, Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Equestrian Events” in recognition of its contribution. As a legacy it constructed Conghua Racecourse on the site.
