Chinese Gold Medallists Create Olympic Equine Memento

Fresh from their Olympic triumphs, Chinese gold medallists were invited to autograph a commemorative Jockey Club horse statue today (29 Aug) during their stay in Hong Kong.

Director of General Administration of Sports of China as well as head of delegation Mr Liu Peng, coaches and Olympic medallists were gathered today at the hotel lobby and autographed the horse statue one by one. The equine statue will be publicly displayed in the future.

Chinese gold medallists of the 2004 Olympic were also invited to autograph a horse statue when they were meeting the public at the Happy Valley racecourse. The horse statue has been publicly displayed since then.
