To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Mark Six lottery, The Hong Kong Jockey Club will be broadcasting a special extended edition of the Mark Six Draw tomorrow night.
Hosting the 10-minute programme will be Kenneth Ng, alias “Uncle Winter”, the popular former host and a familiar face from four decades of the Mark Six. He will join with current hosts Shirley Tsoi, June Ng, Aliya Fan and Rita Chan to look back over memorable moments of the Mark Six as a prelude to the draw itself.
As per its normal practice, the Club has invited two supervising guests to ensure the draw is conducted in a fair, open and impartial manner. Mrs. Jeannie Chow, Justice of the Peace and Ms. Vanessa Lam, the Chairlady of Board of Directors of Yan Chai Hospital, which is one of the beneficiary organisations of the Lotteries Fund, will be performing this duty tomorrow night.
Proceeds from the Mark Six lottery go to the Government and the Lotteries Fund to support the overall welfare of the community. In the past 40 years, cumulative Lottery Duty has exceeded $37 billion while cumulative Lotteries Fund contributions have exceeded $20 billion. More than 20,000 projects involving over 300 beneficiary organisations have been supported by the Lotteries Fund.
The Mark Six 40th Anniversary Snowball draw will be broadcast live at 9.30 pm on TVB J2 channel, via HKJC TV app, on.cc, UTV mobile app and at 102 Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs) citywide.

The Mark Six 40th Anniversary draw will carry a Snowball of $75 million and the First Division Prize Fund is estimated to reach $100 million*. Sales started last Tuesday 23 February, and as of yesterday, Sunday 28 February, turnover has exceeded $172 million. In view of the strong demand for Mark Six tickets, the Club’s OCBBs #will open earlier tomorrow at 9:00 am. Please note that Mark Six ticket sales stops at 15 minutes prior to the draw.
