This year's Chinese League is being contested over three legs.  The first two legs were completed in Beijing on 3 Oct.  Leung won the first leg and finished fifth in the second to accumulate a total score of 37, giving her the current lead.  Her teammate Lam, a member of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Equestrian Team, finished second and 10th in the first two legs respectively, and now stands third in the overall ranking.  Another Club-sponsored rider, Kenneth Cheng, has had to withdraw from the final leg due to his leased horse being unfit.

The 2013 FEI World Cup Jumping finals, one of the richest jumping events in the world, will take place next April in Goteborg, Sweden.  It is one of the annual highlights of the equestrian calendar, attracting top riders from many parts of the world.
