CADENZA: Elder-Friendly Employment Practice

Hong Kong's ageing population trend means that the proportion of those at prime working age is steadily shrinking.  To alleviate this by encouraging retirees to re-enter the workforce, the Elder-Friendly Employment Practice, a community programme under the auspices of the Club's CADENZA project, organises training programmes to enhance the employability of elderly people and job expos that offer opportunities for retirees.  These initiatives help the elderly make good use of their experience and networks when returning to the workforce and enjoy a more fulfilling "second half of their lives".
