Hong Kong Horses Arrive for Historic Olympic Challenge

4 August 2008

Hong Kong's first-ever Olympic equine athletes flew in from Amsterdam this morning ready for the final preparations for the Olympic Equestrian Events in the countdown to their first Jumping competition on 15 August.

Kenneth Cheng's Olympic ride Jockey Club Can Do, Samantha Lam's horse Jockey Club Tresor and Patrick Lam's Urban arrived along with Cheng's reserve horse Felton Lee, all fit and well after the 11-hour flight. The quartet was swiftly transferred to the Olympic Stables in the comfort of the Club's air-conditioned floats.
