Secretary for Home Affairs visits 2008 Olympic Equestrian Exhibition

Secretary for Home Affairs The Honourable Tsang Tak-sing, accompanied by Hong Kong Jockey Club Chairman John C C Chan, visited the 2008 Olympic Equestrian Exhibition at The Hong Kong Racing Museum today (28 July). They were able to share the excitement of Hong Kong's co-hosting of the Olympic and Paralympic equestrian events with 80 elderly people who had been given the opportunity to see the Exhibition as part of the Clubˇ¦s Summer Visit Programme.

The 2008 Olympic Equestrian Exhibition is organised by The Hong Kong Racing Museum in collaboration with the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is the first exhibition held in Hong Kong dedicated to the Olympic Games, Olympic equestrian events and equestrian sport. On display is an invaluable collection of over 200 exhibits and photographs. A majority of the exhibits are sponsored by the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. The exhibition runs until 28 September and admission is free.
