Three members of the European Parliament, Mr Dirk Sterckx, Mr Jean-Luc Dehaene and Mrs Evelyne Gebhardt, were received by John Ridley, Head of Racing Operations, at the Sha Tin Racecourse for a presentation on the updates of venue construction for the 2008 Olympic Games equestrian competitions.
The delegation then toured the construction sites at the Hong Kong Sports Institute and the Hong Kong Golf Club to gain a solid impression of the venues and facilities.
