Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference members visit Sha Tin Racecourse to receive an update on the construction of the Olympic venues

Nine members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, together with Lam Woon Kwong, Chief Executive of the Equestrian Events (Hong Kong) of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad Company Limited, paid a visit to Sha Tin Racecourse on 18 September to receive an update on the construction of the Olympic venues.

Chief Executive Lawrence T. Wong hosted the delegation with a lunch at the Stewards' Box before the guests visited the world class Racing Laboratory and the Equine Hospital. The two -hour visit not only gave the delegation a clearer picture on the status of the Olympic Games Equestrian project, but also a deep impression on the contributions of the Club to the society as well as its globally acclaimed horse racing facilities.
