Four lucky riders have received a major boost in their bid to represent Hong Kong SAR at the 2008 Olympic equestrian events in Hong Kong with news that The Hong Kong Jockey Club and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust Fund have put together a sponsorship package for them.

The sponsorship agreement for Jumping riders Kenneth Cheng and Samantha Lam, Para Equestrian Nelson Yip and Dressage rider Lily Zilo was announced on Monday, 19 November.

All four have demonstrated the required skills in their chosen discipline and, as holders of HKSAR passports, are eligible under IOC regulations to represent Hong Kong at next year's Olympic equestrian events.
