03/25/2016

To promote the spirit of “Riding High Together”, The Hong Kong Jockey Club is again holding a two-day community festival during the Easter holidays. The opening today (25 March), attracted over 10,000 to Sha Tin Racecourse and Penfold Park where they were able to enjoy a series of “edutainment” activities.

This is the second year the Club has staged the Riding High Together Festival. With 2016 being an Olympic year, this year’s Festival is themed “Let’s Cheer for Sportsmanship”. The Club hopes it will help promote important values of sportsmanship. The two-day festival, suitable for people of all ages, features over 70 activities in ten zones arranged around five themes. The five themes are Inspiration & Fun, Let’s be Active, Snap & Share, Horse Encounters and Live Performances.
