World-class illusionists to cast magic spell at Happy Valley parties

On the Happy Wednesday nights of 19 and 26 February, world-class masters of magic will grace the stage of special Magic Comes to the Valley shows for fans at Happy Valley Racecourse (Photo 1)  Racegoers in the popular Beer Garden are set to fall under the spell of two internationally acclaimed illusionists - Mirko Callaci from Argentina (Photo 2) and Hong Kong’s magic legend Avon Lee (Photo 3)  The opening night of 19 February will feature Callaci who will be flying in exclusively for this magical extravaganza.

Adding further fun and vibrancy to the night racing action, top “Close-up” magicians including Sean Macfarlane and Stuart Palm will be on hand to give roving performances, performing amazing sleight-of-hand manipulations and magic tricks to entertain Beer Garden revellers.  Fans who join an act with the performers will gain the chance to win fabulous prizes including tickets to the movie “Wolf of Wall Street”.

Another way fans can join the magical fun is by posing for a spellbinding souvenir snap at the Beer Garden’s enchanted photo booth.  Once inside, they can choose their favourite magic-themed backdrop.  The photo can then be printed and instantly shared via social networks.
